Second Life on Macintosh

The last couple of days, I’ve been reading about a software called Second Life. So I signed up and downloaded the Macintosh client. And the Macintosh client is really bad. I don’t have a fastest Mac in the world, but on a dual 1Ghz G4 and a ATI Radeon 9600 with 128 mb of video memory, one would think that a framerate of more than three frames a sec would be possible. It’s a pity because the software seems cool. Hopefully they will improve the client.
