Apple hates games

So Apple released a new Intel Mac Mini today. And they use Intels GMA950 for graphics. How stupid is this? So this machine is a no-go for me. I’m so disappointed.

I tend to agree. Maybe I’ve been using underpowered antique Macintoshes for too many years, but Intel graphics don’t seem that craptasically slow. The new Minis are all about the [relatively low temperature] dual core, given Steve’s obsession with fan noise and smallish form factor.

After reading some more about the GMA950 I realized that maybe it’s not such a bad choise after all. It handles video like HD very well.
