JackenIAX and multiple lines

I finally have a version of JackenIAX that supports multiple lines. I have added so you can choose to output background music for the calls on hold. There’s a lot of testing, and I also have to rethink the user interface to be able to handle multiple calls. But i think it’s going to be cool.

    Hi, I couldn’t find an email address, so I am asking you here: I used part of an image from one of your galleries on this site: http://kuniforms.com/. I just want your permission to use the image (banner image of my site). There is already a link to your site on the bottom of the page. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Sorry to dump this in the blog but there wasn’t an obvious way to get hold of you otherwise (suppose I could try the FWD number ;-) )

    I’ve installed JackenIAX on my MacBook Pro (intel chip and OSX 10.4.6). It works great for outgoing calls via my Asterisk box but incoming calls start ringing and then immediately stop. The far end thinks it is still ringing but JackenIAX has gone back to the quiescent state. Any thoughts?

    Here is a quick dump from the console… makenew… 2006-04-10 17:38:06.968 JackenIAX[8176] text event type=1 callNo = 1 message Call from (701) IAXCLIENT: Call from (701) 2006-04-10 17:38:06.968 JackenIAX[8176] call.state = 10 outgoing 0 ringing 8 complete 0 busy 0 2006-04-10 17:38:06.968 JackenIAX[8176] Dealloc of starting pa PaOSXCalcNumHostBuffers: pastNumUserBuffers = 1 PaOSXCalcNumHostBuffers: input.bytesPerUserNativeBuffer = 2560 PaOSXCalcNumHostBuffers: output.bytesPerUserNativeBuffer = 2560 outputDeviceID = 262 inputDeviceID = 260 primaryDeviceID = 262 PaOSXOpenOutputDevice: ————- PaOSXOpenOutputDevice: deviceID = 0×2 PaOSXOpenCommonDevice: call AudioDeviceAddPropertyListener() PaOSXSetFormat: try to change sample rate to 8000.000000.     Again, no obvious place where to send comments and/or bug fixes (if you want, I can share my on-line bug tracker with you).

    Anyhow, back to the problem, JackenIAX works fantastically, the only little tiny problem I found is that it chomps numbers within parenthesis in the address book: I have them all stored as “+1 (123) 456-7890″ and when they’re dialled it comes out as “004567890″, which is kind of uncool…

    That’s the only bug so far, for the rest, it’s a very sweet toy! Thanks for it…
