I don’t know how many times I have read a thread that’s interesting, and then forget the URL. But now I use co.mments and it’s great. I have put an icon on posts on this site, so all you have to do is to press the co.mments button to keep track of a discussion.
After trying the latest pre-release version of Firefox, I’ve switched over completely. It’s amazingly fast! There are some bugs, like problems of making the browser windows active when switching between applications, but I don’t care. It’s so fast that I can put up with that.

The last couple of albums of Pearl Jam pretty much sucked. I’ve seen a lot of links to their new music videos, but I just ignored them. But they’re back! I’m actually going to buy the new CD. I haven’t bought a CD since I bought Henry Fiat’s Open Sore a year ago…

There’s been a lot of buzz on the internet about a method to Getting Things Done. I use an simple and elegant solution called Tracks. It’s made in Ruby on Rails, so to set it up can be a pain for the more technically challanged. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to set it up using Locomotive. No terminal commands needed!

I’ve been trying to install the latest version of Ruby on Rails on my 10.3.9 Panther server with no luck. First I tried to install from source, but RubyGems refuses to install. So I tried to install from DarwinPorts, with the same problem. Very annoying.
Then I tried to install ettercap on my powerbook with 10.4. There I got a compile error. It seems a lot of install packages are broken.
I really like DarwinPorts, but there seems to be a quality problem on some of the packages.

I’ve been reading a book about Cary Grant. He was one of the first 300 persons to go through clinical tests using LSD as a therapy tool. Today I found this on reddit, showing a man drawing during the influense of LSD. Interesting stuff.
I wouldn’t mind having the second and sixth picture hanging on the wall.
So you think you are ready for the crossroads? First kick back with this one…

A couple of weeks ago, when at the vacation house at Ã…land, a guy I known for a number of years came by for a visit. He looked really horrible. He travelled all the time from Poland to Ã…land to make some money for his family. And a lot of people took advantage of him, giving him little money for really hard work. He put his daughter through dentist school by genuine hard work. Anyway, he complained about an backache that he’s been having for a couple of weeks. He could hardly get into the car when leaving.
Yesterday they found him dead in his small house he was renting. A couple of his friends had come to visit him, and when they came back from a small fishing trip, he was dead.
Life is short and unfair sometimes.
Update: I just got a mail from my sister. He apperantly hanged himself from an apple tree in his garden.
I found the site CSS Library, a great source for CSS code snippets and ideas. Fits me perfectly because I’m working on a Drupal site for work, and this comes in handy.
