JackenIAX with multiple lines support

I finally completed a new version of JackenIAX. It now has up to four lines support. I also added a searchable call log. Lot’s of other small improvements as well.

  1. Thanks for the new version of JackenIAX!

I was delighted to see the new dial prefix option, since I have set my Asterisk PBX up to dial 9 for an outside line, but my address book (since it is synched to my mobile) has all the numbers in “pure” E164 format.

However, when I tried it, I found that it prefixed 9 to numbers I entered manually as well, so I can’t then call my internal extensions!

Pretty please can we have a way of adding a prefix to address book numbers, but not to ALL numbers?

    Thanks!

  2. Yep, that’s the reason I released this version. The security problem mentioned is patched. Good idea about version numbers. As soon as I get time to change my site over to Drupal, I’ll add it.

  3. I’ve had lots of problems with Idefisk and Loudhush, but JackenIAX works perfectly. I am currently in London connecting back to our Asterisk server in New Zealand and voice quality is fantastic. The only feature I really need is the ability to transfer calls as we use Asterisk as our office phone system. I encourage you to continue to develop this product and release it commercially. We would happily pay for this.

  4. Agreed – this is a lovely app and the prefix code is very useful, though I too would like it only to apply to things dialled from the Address Book.

What I’d really like is the ability to choose between more than one Asterisk server, or more than one different account on a server, either by having multiple windows or tabs, or by being able to run two instances at the same time…

    All the best, Quentin
