Sqeezebox 3 refuses to play first song

I’ve been occupied with encoding all my CDs to FLAC. But after encoding 50 CDs, I realized that the SlimServer would not recognize the first song of all the albums. I used the excellent program Max to encode it. No problem playing the FLAC files back in Toast or Cog. But after fiddling around a bit, i realized that I had included cover art when encoding. So I tried to reencode the files without cover art. Success!

I’m so happy that I can use Max, because it’s a fantastic piece of software.

So if you are about to encode your music to FLAC and using a SqueezeBox, don’t include cover art. Update: This problem is fixed with the latest version of Max
