Galaxie
My friend Johan bought a car and had it shipped over from the US. It’s a 60’s (I’m guessing 64, but I’m not sure) Ford Galaxie 500 in super mint condition. He didn’t have to sell his soul to buy it, because it’s a four-door, and they’re cheaper. The interior is original and it looks totally new. It’s in a mind-boggling shape. It’s great to ride around in an old American car again, I’ll never get bored of the sound of a V-8.
Now the lobbying starts to get Johan to buy four 20-inch rims, and take his souped up 429 Super Cobra Jet motor and put it in this one. I known him for like 20 years and he’s always had this newly renovated motor sitting in his garage. But he’s pledged to only put it in a Ford Torino 1970. Only time will tell. He’ll probably just put together a stroker 390 just to make everything simpler with motor mounts and transmission.
It seemed like a good idea at the time…

Arlanda
Went out with the family today to the airport at Arlanda. Soon got bored photographing landing airplanes. Managed to get this one with both the moon and an airplane. Tacky!

World Press Photo of the Year 2004
After checking out the winners of the World Press Photo of the Year 2004, I realized that the best pictures are in the sports category. And I hate sports. Weird.
