Time for a price cut

August 5th, 2004 · No Comments

Isn’t it time for Apple to give us a price cut on .mac? My email address on .mac is my most unreliable one of the five addresses I use. The only thing I use .mac for is to sync some of the documents I need between different computers, and to synchronize my addressbook and calendar with my mobile. It feels like a big ripoff to pay a lot of money for that. And to only get 100mb of storage is almost pathetic.

I think it’s time for Apple to bump up the .mac offer with 1gig of storage and to introduce more features. And/or to lower the price. If the price was lower, I would convince my customers to get an account when installing a new machine, something I’ve never done so far.
