Ylva, my wife got her birthday gift today. A new lime green iPod. This is the first time I’ve seen her really revel about a electronic gadget. And it’s nice. It took a bit longer to get it because I ordered it with engravings. It looks nicer than I thought it would. And when they’ll [...]

So here is something to keep you occupied (and amused) for a couple of hours. John Hargrave writes about important stuff, like ordering Viagra on the net. Using penis enlargement pills, with effects thereof. Check it out here.

What a DVD Jon
August 13th, 2004 · No Comments
After successes like cracking the DRM for Apples iTunes, DVD Jon continues with cracking Apples Airport Express. With this crack you could stream anything to the Airport Express, not just from iTunes. The program is called JustePort. Should we really need a hacker to add this functionality? Isn’t this something that should be included already? [...]

Second place
August 12th, 2004 · No Comments
There’s a lot of discussions on the net about Linux overtaking Mac OS as the second largest desktop operating system. This is great. No really. Because it’s not Apple that’s losing customers, it’s Microsoft. And the more people who gets their feet wet using linux, the more potential Mac OS X users there is.

iSync

My mobile phone stopped working so it was time to get a new one. I got the Sony Ericsson p900. Yeah, I know that there will be a new version called p910 in a couple of weeks, but who can wait? So I tried to get it to work with iSync, and it failed miserably. [...]

Bit of a scare
August 9th, 2004 · No Comments

I never will get the hang of Applescript
August 7th, 2004 · No Comments
During many years I have had to program with Applescript to automate stuff for me and my customers. But I’ll never get used to the syntax. Why can’t Apple give programmers the option to use something more like C instead? It’s tedious to type, impossible to remember and is hard to maintain.

I want my hole

I must say that I like people like this. A guy realized he didn’t have a hole in his garden. So he built one. You can almost smell the gassy fumes from the pickup truck, the Beef jerky and see the gun rack.

A entry level Mac
August 6th, 2004 · No Comments
Apple really need to make a good entry level Mac, preferably with a G5 processor. One of Swedens best Mac news site Macfeber, have a mockup picture of a aluminum cube that would fit the bill perfectly. If you make one of these with DVI and/or VGA connectors so people could use any screen, and [...]

Time for a price cut
August 5th, 2004 · No Comments
Isn’t it time for Apple to give us a price cut on .mac? My email address on .mac is my most unreliable one of the five addresses I use. The only thing I use .mac for is to sync some of the documents I need between different computers, and to synchronize my addressbook and calendar [...]
