I bought Konfabulator a long time ago. But I stopped using it. Why? It’s a resource hog. Just a couple of widgets and it depletes the battery on my Powerbook.
The developers of Konfabulator has been busy porting the program to Windows because Apple is releasing a similar program in the next version of Mac OS X, called Tiger. My stance is that Apple had desk accessories in all the earlier versions of Mac OS, so It’s actually the Konfabulator guys who got the idea from Apple.
Hopefully Apples version is not as resource intensive as Konfabulator.
