All the time when growing up, my father always said that giving money to charity is pointless, all the money disappeared on the way to the recipient. He could be a bit of a sceptic my father, but often you’ll read about some charity stealing money. My wife has always given to charities like Amnesty and the like, but I have always skipped it. Until today. I gave money to the Red Cross for helping the victims of the tsunamis. I gave a large enough donation to be sure that some of it will get there.
