Worst album cover, ever

January 16th, 2005 · 3 Comments

You can always count on BoingBoing (10) to deliver the great web links. Museum of bad album covers (189). And guess what, the Swedish band Europe has a top listing (1). Makes me proud to be of German/Norwegian origin.

Update: This cover is just the shit (6). I laughed so hard that snot flung out of [...]

Hidden bonus fuck

January 14th, 2005 · 1 Comment

How I hate when bands add tracks with “hidden” songs. A song, then five minutes of silence, then more crap. Try that in an iPod you fuckin dolts. Silence is the new black.

Mac mini

January 14th, 2005 · No Comments

Yeah, I want one. But not until Apple delivers one with enough memory. 256mb memory, what a joke. Mac OS X thrives on memory. I wouldn’t work with anything less than 512mb, but that’s the bare minimum. With 256mb it’s spinning beachball of death all the time. And the Mac mini is not user serviceable, [...]

IBM

January 14th, 2005 · 1 Comment

IBM is getting to be an even cooler company. By embracing Open Source IBM changed my view of the company, and now they have given free access to 500 patents. Rock on! This is a statement from one of the biggest patent holders in the world. Software patents is bad for you.

It’s a real secret

January 10th, 2005 · 2 Comments

Back in 1982 I used to work for Apple answering Apple II support questions by phone. A couple of times people would call and ask questions about the Macintosh. This was two years before it was released! I guess Apples confidentiality is a lot better today.

Colorvision Spyder2

iMic problem

January 7th, 2005 · 4 Comments

I’ve had an iMic for a long time. I bought it very close to the release of it, and you usually have to pay the price for being first adopter. In my case I managed to get the first version with the product id of 1056 With this one there is sound quality problems, and [...]

Lag

January 5th, 2005 · 1 Comment

I have tried to use Skype to talk to my friend Mats in the US for a couple of hours, and it rocks. We tried and compared the sound quality between iChat and Skype and the latter wins hands down. But the best thing with Skype is that the lag time is very short, making [...]

New year

January 3rd, 2005 · No Comments

The family went to Åland for a new year party with my friends there. And it was a blast. We got a lot of Brazilian meat and made a barbecue. Problem was that the grill was on the porch with no lights so we had to use flash lights to see the meat. And for [...]

Cool factor

January 3rd, 2005 · 4 Comments

I see a lot of articles on the net about the iPod and why it sells. And one thing that a lot of pundits mentions is that Apple iPod has the cool factor and that this is the reason that it sells. I think that’s bullshit. The reason the iPod started to sell so well [...]
