I’ve been a bit disappointed with my Shure E2c in-earphones. The bass has been a bit lacking. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but after installing the iPod Updater 2005-02-22 and removing the EU cap, the sound quality is much better! The bass is deeper and I can hear stuff I couldn’t hear before. So finally I’m happy with my headphones (thanks Roy for reminding me!
Anyway, the update adds a feature to my third generation iPod that I wanted for a long time. A shuffle function. I love it when a manufacturer adds features to an old product. This is the stuff that makes for brand loyalty.
