I’ve been ranting about this before, but after reading this, I just had to rant some more. So far I have sold at least ten mac Minis just by telling my customers that they exist. When I say that there is a fully configured Mac for 4.700:- swedish kronor, they almost don’t believe me. People who was considering buying a Dell for home use, change their mind and order a Mac instead. But why is it I have to tell them? Shouldn’t Apple be doing this? If there is a lot of Apple users that’s not aware that there is an affordable Mac, how many PC users don’t know about them? For readers that don’t know me, I’m guaranteed to be one of the worst salespeople in the world. And if I manage to get people to buy a Mac without me even trying, how would some real marketing geniuses do? Time for Apple to use some of the money they make on selling iPods to promote their computers. There will be Apple computers available long after the iPod is dead and gone.
