The use of DRM by the music industry to control how you can use the music you buy is already a fact of life. And it’s Apple who showing us how things are going to be in the future. You buy a product, but the usability of it changes afterwards depending on the paranoia of the seller. Apple has already changed a lot of the usability in iTunes lately, and it’s obvious that it is the music industry that’s pulling the strings.
