iSync and SonyEricsson P910 in Mac OS X Tiger

April 13th, 2005 · 7 Comments

SonyEricsson p910 when syncing a SonyEricsson P910 in Mac OS X Tiger, you get a dialog box asking to download a software called iSync Config to the phone. And after doing that you’ll be amazed over how much faster the syncing is. Now you can finally do syncing often. And no more program crashes on the phone.

Rock on Apple!

How’s Tiger besides the syncing? Which carrier are you using the phone with? (Does it work as a modem?)

Did you upgrade to the 910? (Or is it just a firmware upgrade).

Sorry for the rapid fire questions, I’ve just been looking for something else since Samsung canceled the i550. I need(!) a camera and memory stick and I really want another phone with a touch-screen…

It’s great! No problem what so ever (except that Remote Desktop doesn’t work) I have not tried to use it as a modem, but that should work as it did in Panther. I never did do the upgrade of my p900 to 910, managed to lose the phone when drunk :-) Had to buy a new one.

Hello, I can’t sync calendars, iSync keep saying the connection with the phone has been interrupted… any guess? Thanks

Cannot sync iCal, address book or tasks in Tiger with my p910a. Before Tiger, i used to sync iCal and contacts separately with no problem as I have alot of data (900+ contacts). With my first iSync in Tiger it wiped all of the contacts, tasks and appointments from my phone. HELP.

One thing here is that I tell iSync that I want my Address Book contacts from a certain group sync’d. But when I create a new contact on the P910, it doesn’t go to that group on the Mac.

any tip on how to solve this?
