I’ve always had this thing of getting really interested in something and then trying to learn everything I can about it. But I also manage to set my goals to high, and be all to critical of my own work, which eventually leads to me giving up on it. Then I sell of all the equipment that I got, usually for a substantial loss. My current fling is with digital photography. I’ve been here before, used to always carry my trusty Nikon F3hp around everywhere. The thing that took all my attention before that was digital video. I got myself a Sony VX-2000 3-ccd camera, bags, lights, tripods and so on. I’ve sold of most of it, but haven’t got around to sell the video camera yet. Which is fortunate, because today I started to play around with Final Cut Pro again, and it feels like I’m getting the video thing going again. So this time I don’t have to buy a new video camera.
It’s real fun to start to go through the videos I shot a couple of years ago. Stuff you totally forgot that you even took. I would guess that I’ll try to put up most of the things I find under my new video section.

Does this mean that we are finally going to see the much anticipated US Roadtrip Movie ( known to some as “L actually means XXL - tearing it up in the US” )?

Yeah, I started last night to compress it, but after watching it I realized that I had to re-cut it. It’s horrible. And thus proving my point in the blog entry above…

To long scenes, shoddy sound, to much video. It’s now around 37 minutes, needs to be shortened to 20 min.
