Maybe I’m getting old, but I’m starting to really hate the reality shows on TV. The lesson seems to be that winning is worth everything, without concern for your fellow man. Backstabbing and lying, using other people for your own gains. And then you get to read all about them in the papers. I can’t keep up with all the “famous for fifteen minutes” people from the TV shows.

When I first heard of the show Survivor, I thought it was a great idea. Two teams trying to survive on a desolate island, learning how to catch fish and other food, and learn how to build things. But instead they made it into a soap opera. And maybe that’s what people want. I think that is sad…
