Today I did a photo shoot for a new book. I use Image Capture, a program for downloading pictures, that comes with Mac OS X. But when I checked the folder where the pictures should be, there was only 18, but the card contained 180. It seems that there is a bug in Image Capture in Mac OS X Tiger 10.4 because it didn’t warn me. The program even showed the pictures downloading in the dialog box. It just continued without giving a warning message. The last of the eighteen images was only half downloaded. Thankfully I didn’t empty my card, because then a whole days work would have been lost.
