I did some Googling today to see if I could find out stuff about old friends. So I searched for my old friend punk Johnny and I found out that he died of pneumonia three years ago. He didn’t have a very pleasant life unfortunately. He was involved in a thing that would be known in the Swedish press as Punkmordet (the punk murder) where Johnny and another friend of mine was in a fight with another group. Johnny ended up stabbing one of them to death.
Just a couple of months after he got out of prison I remember finding needles in one of his drawers in his room. He fell into a serious drug habit, that finally took his life. Many said that he got of easy just because he was so young, but I think he paid his due.
The last time I talked to him was probably five or six years ago, when he called me to ask about an old macintosh computer. He sounded like he was in a terrible state.
Sad.

That’s sad. It’s amazing what you can find on the Net. I am sure your friend has gone to a better place. Obviously he had a troubled life here on earth. Maybe things will be different in the after life.
