The journey

July 10th, 2005 · No Comments

We have finally started our tour of the upper part of Sweden. I’ll try to post a couple of times a day when we find some wep-free wifi. Were now at McDonalds in Hedemora to get some ice for my beer. I’m about to hand over the driving to Micke so I can get drunk instead.

I’m starting to get drunk now. Micke start to be beutiful, maybe I chould cut down on the drinking? We have now starting to get into a thunderstorm. It’s actually nice to get some rain after a week of sunshine.

I have an old Powerbook as my GPS computer, using Route 66 2004 and a GPS receiver. What a piece of crap this software is. I downloaded an update from the european site, and it doesn’t work. I remember downloading it a year ago, and it didn’t work then either. Had to download the US version to get it to work. This must be a great opportunity for a developer to make a program for mac that’s worth the name. It doesn’t seem to be a problem to get free wifi, so far MacStumber gives us about 70% non-WEP networks. Got to love stupid Windows users.

Where about 88 km from Matte. We have to pick him up in Älvdalen. Then we’ll continue up in Sweden. No set plans on where to go, so hopefully we can keep the tempo low.

Back in a while…
