During World War II the Swedish government allowed German troups to pass through Sweden to Finland, just to stay out of trouble. And maybe to be able to continue to supply Germany with Swedish steel.
And now we let the US control how we apply our own laws. Helping the RIAA and MPAA stop PirateBay. And I have good feeling that this will backfire horribly. And heads will roll in the Swedish government.
During the war they used an old slogan, “Den Svenska tigern”, The Swedish Tiger, but in reality it’s more like the Swedish Pussycat. I guess the threat, “If you are not with us, your against us” really worked…

I can honestly that I wish (as in the US) would leave the rest of the world alone, pull out of other countries, quit messing in their business, and start worrying about domestic issues. The kind of money we spend interfering in other countries would solve 90% of our domestic problems.
But, that’s just my opinion. And, I think the Swedish government should do whatever they feel is necessary, not what the US tells them or, even worse, what the stupid RIAA tells them to do.
