JackenIAX problems on Intel MacBookPro w/ OS X 10.4.7 and QT 7.12
Hey Jack,
Sorry to ring in your new forums and such with a problem, but I guess that's why you put it here. Lovely job so far, btw.
Somewhere between upgrading to 10.4.7 and/or Quicktime 7.1.2, sound stopped working in JackenIAX. It worked under 10.4.6 and whatever version for QT I had before, for what it's worth.
Allright, scratch that. I just went back to check settings and reset my input settings and now it works again. I'll post this anyway so that anyone else with this problem may try it and get lukcy.
Yep OS X 10.4.7 not happy. No Audio
The meter moves but nothing is output to the speakers.
Just checking is to see where you are with a fix. Love to see how your software works with my Trixbox setup.

Have you checked which
Have you checked which output channel you have selected in System Preferences? Are you using an audio card?

Crashing when answering?
I've seen a blog post on the net complaining about JackenIAX crashing when pressing the answer button. Unfortunally I haven't got an Intel mac, so I can't try it out. Have you had any such problems?

On the todo list
Hi! And thanks for the feedback. Yes, this is exactly why I put up this forum.
I will look into this problem as soon as my workload gets a little bit more sane.

Same problems on Intel Mac
Hallo Jack,
first at all I have to say that I've checked out every SIP/IAX softphone avialable for Mac OS X and JackenIAX is my favorit. On my old Powerbook it ran great, but now on the Intel Mac I have no sound at all.
I've checked the preferences and other programs using audio devices run fine (e.g. Skype).
If I could help you to resolve this problem, let me now.
Thank you!
Regards,
Hendrik
