After installing the spamfilter on my mailserver, there’s still some spam coming trough. One of them is spam from a company called PrintPal. The company admits to using external contractors to spam, but says that all of them use legitimate sources for their email addresses and that you have to opt in to be on it. I have several spam harvest accounts that’s never been used or registered anywhere, but they still get spam from PrintPal. It’s amazing to me that people still buy products from companies that uses spam as marketing. There must be a lot of suckers out there. For me it does not matter if the company has great prices and products, if they use spam for marketing they are out of the loop. Some people fight back. Here’s a posting of someone that sued PrintPal for sending spam. That could probably be a good business for some ambulance chaser. Just get enough clients and help sue spammer companies in small claims court.
