Cyburg Needles Speakers

Here’s a quick picture of my finished Cyburg Needles speakers. First time I ever done any wood crafting, and they sound great! They are really easy to build. You can find the plans for them here (PDF warning).. Next up, a pair of Jordan Transmission Line speakers. Update: I built a couple of ProAc Response 2.5 clones instead. They are incredible and sounds absolutely amazing!

New version of JackenIAX

I have made some small upgrades to JackenIAX. The main thing is that now you can set the number of digits used for local extensions, so that you don’t get a prefix number added before dialing. There is other stuff coming shortly… Go and download the latest JackenIAX

DIY speakers

I want to have a couple of speakers in the beadroom, so I started to search the net. I found a very intresting DYI speaker project here (Swedish). So I ordered the speakers and can’t wait to get them. My skills in working with wood is very limited, but I may get some help from one of my friends, who is an expert wood carpenter. ...

JackenIAX and multiple lines

I finally have a version of JackenIAX that supports multiple lines. I have added so you can choose to output background music for the calls on hold. There’s a lot of testing, and I also have to rethink the user interface to be able to handle multiple calls. But i think it’s going to be cool.

Grisen skriker

You got to love the net. What ever you search for, you’ll find it. Naturally I did a vanity search of the pictures, but couldn’t find myself in the pictures. But I did find the lead singer of the band Ebba Grön, one of the ultimate Swedish punk bands. He probably learned a thing or two that night. It took me one hour just to make it from the door into the hall where they where playing. The band eventually took their clothes of, because the air conditioning broke down.

Adding new features

Every time I answer the phone (yes, I’m using JackenIAX), I have to pause iTunes before answering. So today I added an option so when you answer or dial, iTunes pauses automatically. It will be in the next release (within a couple of days) I had to rewrite a large section of code for some other features that I have planned. I’m getting a bit more comfortable with Cocoa programming, and discovers old code full of brain farts. And the code is getting smaller with more features. A step in the right direction…
